Trump tried to politically destroy Thomas Massie… and it may have backfired in a BIG way.
After reportedly spending over $30 million to take him down, many expected Massie to disappear quietly after his loss in Kentucky.
Instead?
He delivered one of the most defiant concession speeches of the year.
Massie accused powerful political forces of bullying tactics, doubled down on his fight for “basic decency,” and reminded everyone that he still has months left in Congress to make noise.
The most explosive moment came when he referenced the Epstein Files Transparency Act and said:
“We’ve taken out two dozen CEOs, an ambassador, a prince, a prime minister… and that was just six months. I got seven months left in Congress.”
That line alone has Washington talking.
Even more interesting: some populist Democrats are now openly praising Massie for standing against establishment politics, foreign wars, and elite corruption.
So now the big question is:
Did Trump create a martyr instead of ending a rival?
Because judging by the reaction online, Thomas Massie may have just gotten the last laugh.
What do you think — was going after Massie a political mistake by Trump?
USA need a regime change right now
Amen, brother! Also, I’d like to see Massie still run for his expiring seat, only as an Independent. He might pull enough Republican votes away from the MAGA toad who primaried him, allowing the Democrat to sneak to victory the way Woodrow Wilson did in 1912.
That is an excellent ideal. Massie is a man that has shown he is for the people.
