BREAKING: Trump literally FALLS ASLEEP honoring fallen American soldiers — while his own officials go on TV and insult the intelligence of the entire country.
Yes, this actually happened.
During Memorial Day events meant to honor the brave Americans who died serving this country, Donald Trump appeared half-conscious, eyes drooping, barely able to stay awake while veterans and military families paid tribute to the fallen.
That alone was embarrassing enough.
But then his clown-show administration marched onto Fox Business and somehow made the disaster even worse.
Kevin Hassett — Trump’s grinning economic puppet — actually tried to convince Americans that skyrocketing credit card debt is a GOOD sign for the economy.
Read that again.
Americans drowning in debt… struggling with groceries, rent, gas, healthcare… and Trump’s economic team says it proves people are “optimistic.”
That’s not optimism. That’s survival.
Millions of Americans are putting basic necessities on credit cards because wages aren’t keeping up with inflation, while billionaires and corporations keep getting richer under Trump’s policies.
And the lies didn’t stop there.
Another Trump official, Doug Burgum, bragged that Trump was “two moves ahead” because he managed to get Middle Eastern leaders on a phone call over Memorial Day weekend — apparently forgetting the rest of the world does NOT celebrate Memorial Day.
This is the level of competence running the Republican Party right now.
Then Burgum mocked Pope Leo for speaking about artificial intelligence, acting shocked that a Pope would comment on technology — despite Popes discussing science, ethics, and technological change for centuries.
These people are not serious leaders.
They are media-trained cheerleaders whose only job is protecting Trump’s ego while Americans struggle to pay bills, veterans get used as political props, and the country sinks deeper into division and economic instability.
And while all this chaos unfolds, Trump supporters are still told the economy is “booming,” democracy is “safe,” and everything is “beautiful.”
The gaslighting never stops.
This administration doesn’t govern through competence. It governs through propaganda, Fox News soundbites, and billionaire-friendly distractions.
Meanwhile ordinary Americans are left carrying the bill.
